Nations Football Club has claimed its first victory of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, defeating Aduana Stars 2-1 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park. This win extends the team’s unbeaten run to three games.

Nafiu Sulemana opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a stunning effort, etching his name in the club’s history as the scorer of Nations FC’s first goal of the season. Aduana Stars fought back and equalized early in the second half, finding the net in the 47th minute.

However, the breakthrough came in the dying moments of the match when new signing Faisal Charwetey delivered a decisive goal in the 89th minute, securing all three points for the visitors. Charwetey’s late heroics not only clinched the team’s first win of the season but also ensured their unbeaten streak remained intact.

Nations FC will return home to face Accra Hearts of Oak in matchday four, looking to build on their momentum in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
