Emmanuel Annor’s first-half strike proved decisive as Nations FC edged Karela United 1-0 in a hard-fought Ghana Premier League clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

The in-form forward found the back of the net midway through the first half, securing all three points for the Abrankese-based side. The victory marks Nations FC’s second consecutive win, following their impressive away triumph over Accra Hearts of Oak on the previous matchday.

Despite missing their influential captain, Razak Simpson, who is nursing an injury sustained against Hearts of oak, Coach Kasim Mingle’s men remained solid at the back ensuring yet another clean sheet.

The result lifts Nations FC to third place on the league table, just four points adrift of leaders Asante Kotoko.
